How do I activate my new BankFinancial Debit Card?  back to top
Before activating your card, please have the following available:
  • Last 4 of your Social Security Number
  • Last 4 of your primary account number
  • Phone number associated with your account
  • You will also be asked to enter a 4-digit PIN to associate with this new card. The 4-digit PIN can be any number of your choosing. 
To activate your Debit card:
Call 1.833.933.1640. Then follow the prompts.
If you are calling from outside the U.S. or your primary address is a foreign address, call: 1.847.279.9000.

Does it matter what web browser I use with Online Banking?
It is recommended that you use a web browser that is currently receiving security updates and technical support for the lifecycle of the version you have installed. Online Banking is compatible with most current web browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.

If you are using Internet Explorer (IE), please use a different web browser to access Online Banking, as Microsoft will no longer be supporting IE, and many websites will no longer function with the IE browser. Microsoft recommends using Microsoft Edge as your default browser.

I lost my ATM/debit card? How do I report it?  back to top
Reporting your BankFinancial ATM or Debit Card lost or stolen is easy by following one of the four steps below:
  • Call the Customer Service Center: 
    During regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm and Saturday, 8am - 2pm CST), call 1.800.894.6900 to speak to a representative.

  • After Business Hours -Lost or Stolen ATM/Debit Card (24/7) :
    Call 1.800.754.4128
    NOTE: You will then need to call the Customer Service Center at 1.800.894.6900 during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm and Saturday, 8am - 2pm CST) and speak to a representative to order a new replacement card.
 

What do I do if my BankFinancial Visa credit card was lost or stolen?  back to top

Reporting a lost or stolen card is simple.

During regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm and Saturday, 8am - 3pm CST), call 1.800.894.6900 to speak to a representative.

After regular business hours:

  • Consumer Cardholders in the U.S. and Canada: 1.800.558.3424.
  • Business Cardholders in the U.S. and Canada: 1.866.552.8855.
  • Outside U.S. and Canada, cardholders can call collect using local operator: 1.503.401.9991.
  • For the hearing impaired, please call 1.800.685.5065 in the U.S. or Canada or 1.512.865.2002 in all other countries.
