We are excited about our new, more robust online business banking system and mobile app. 

The new system features a wide range of new and upgraded tools and services designed to make it easier for you to manage your money- anytime, anywhere.  The new upgraded Mobile Banking App is now available for download from the iTunes® or Google Play™ Stores.

 

FEATURES

Faster and Easier UI/UX Design. The new user interface (UI) design offers more flexibility and improved user experience (UX) with a customizable dashboard and more intuitive navigation.

Stronger Security, More Peace of Mind. The new Online Business Banking platform is equipped with advanced fraud detection, state of the art encryption, and enhanced security, such as soft token capabilities, multi-factor authentication, and biometrics authentication for Mobile Business Banking users.

Single Sign-On for Most Services. The new Online Business Banking is fully integrated with our Bill Pay, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Positive Pay, Rent Collector and ePay service. Once you’re logged in to the new Online Business Banking, you have direct access to these services.

New ACH Process. Future dated ACH transactions are debited only 2 days prior to transaction date, versus being debited on the approval date, giving you more cash flow flexibility.

 New Mobile App with Mobile RDC. Mobile RDC is available within the online RDC, and ePay payment system, which allows your employees to make deposits in the field without having access to any other account information.  Mobile RDC is also available as a separate stand-alone application for businesses that don’t require access restrictions.

Conversion Checklist

The new Online Business Banking system is now live and fully functional!

Please read this carefully, as it contains important information about your responsibilities before and after the transition process.

 

Pre-Transition Checklist:

Between November 3, 2020 and November 9, 2020

 
  • Administrator Login Credentials. On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, all Company Administrators (Primary and Secondary Administrators) were sent two separate emails from CustomerServiceCenter@BankFinancial.com. with login credentials.  
    Note:  Login credentials expire on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 9:00am. If your credentials have expired or you cannot locate the email, please call Business Services at 1.833.894.6999, option 1. 

  • Online Banking Link. The new Online Banking system will be accessible via our website, BankFinancial.com. Go to the =>SIGN IN< button under the Account Logins menu option =>Online Banking<. Then login using your credentials. For details and step-by-step instructions, please refer to the Login Experience User Guide.

  • Please Change Your Username After Initial Login.
    To ensure a smooth transition to the new system and minimize any interruption of service, we ask that you change your Username to the same User ID that you had in the legacy Online Business Banking system. Please refer to the How To Change Your Username User Guide for step-by-step instructions.

  • Business User Credentials. Primary and Secondary Administrators are responsible for re-creating business users in the new system.  Administrators need to re-establish the user’s access and permissions.
    • Company Administrators will need to go to the >Additional Services< menu tab and select >Manage Users< to add business users with permissions and limits on a per Tax ID/ per account to enable access. Note: At the initial login, all Online Business Banking Users will be prompted to change their Username and password. To ensure a smooth transition, it is recommended that Users change their Username to the same User ID that they used in the legacy (current) Online Business Banking system. Please refer to the Adding a Business User & Entitlements User Guide for step-by-step instruction.
      Note: If your company has more than 1 administrator, secondary approval to set up users is required. Please refer to the How to Approve a Business User User Guide.

  • Online Business Banking Changes made after Friday, October 23, 2020. Any changes made after this date cannot be transferred to the new Online Business Banking system. Therefore, we recommend that you keep a record of any change you made after Friday, October 23, 2020, so that you can replicate them in the new Online Business Banking system during conversion week.

  • ACH/Wire future payments dated after November 9, 2020. Any future ACH and Wire payments scheduled or set to recur with a date after 11/9/20 will not transfer to the new system. These will need to be re-entered into the new online business banking system. ACH and Wire user guides are available under the User Guide tab below.  
  • Note: Please continue to use the legacy Online Business Banking System for all ACH and Wire transactions and other account transactions through Monday, November 9, 2020.  ACH and Wire instructions received from the new system prior to November 9, 2020 will not be processed.

 

  • Alerts. Existing alerts are not able to be converted during the transition. You will need to configure each of your alerts in the new online business banking system after the transition. Refer to the Alerts and Notifications Guide.

  • Custom account names (account nicknames). You may wish to create a list of any account names, along with their account number or balance to identify them after the transition. Account names will be standardized to use the same account name in the new business online banking. You will be able to configure custom account names in the new business online banking after the transition.

  • For Quicken/ QuickBooks Users. After the system conversion, users will need to modify their Quicken and/or QuickBooks settings to ensure the smooth transition of data. Please refer to the Intuit Conversion Guides in the green User Guides section below and follow the step-by-step instructions. Note: Information is time sensitive, and it is important that you perform each step exactly as instructed in the order presented to ensure your service functions properly.

Post-Conversion Checklist:

After November 9, 2020

  

  • Bill Pay Access. The company Primary Admin has been designated as the Bill Pay 1 User and has automatic access to Bill Pay in the new Online Banking system after their initial login. To access the Bill Pay service, login to the new Online Business Banking system with your credentials, then go to the =>Additional Services< menu option, then select =>Bill Pay< from the dropdown menu options. All other company Bill Pay Users, will receive two separate emails with their Bill Pay login credentials and instructions on how to access Bill Pay. Login credentials will only be needed the first time you access Bill Pay.


  • Remote Deposit Capture (RDC).  Effective November 9, 2020, Company Administrators (Primary Admins) have access to RDC. To access RDC, login to the new Online Business Banking system with your credentials, then go to the =>Additional Services< menu option, then select =>Remote Deposit Capture< from the dropdown menu options.  Note: Company Administrators will need to complete the User set up and entitlements for all Secondary Admins and business users. Please refer to the Setting Up Users for RDC User Guide.


  • ePay and Rent Collector. Effective November 9, 2020, Company Administrators have access to ePay and Rent Collector. To access ePay / Rent Collector, login to the new Online Business Banking system with your credentials, then go to the =>Additional Services< menu option, then select =>ePay/Rent Collector< from the dropdown menu options.  Note: Company Administrators will need to complete the User set up and permission for all company users. Please refer to the Setting Up Users for ePay/Rent Collector User Guide.
 
  • Positive Pay. Effective November 9, 2020, Positive Pay is now available within the new Online Business Banking system. Only Company Primary Admins (Primary and Secondary Admins) will be set up for Positive Pay. On November 9, 2020, Company Admins were sent two separate emails from CustomerServiceCenter@BankFinancial.com with login credentials and instructions on how to login.
 
  • For Mint Users. Mint.com data is stored on Intuit cloud servers. Data is updated with every change and cannot restore data to a previous point in time. For a successful account update, do not login into Mint.com for BankFinancial Online Business Banking until after 11/18/2020. 
 
  • Download any archived reports and account history. You may access your account statements and reports to download/print until December 31, 2020 from the legacy system using your current login credentials. If you miss the opportunity to do this before the end of the year, your banker can provide statement copies going back up to 6 months. If you are enrolled in eStatements, your statements are archived for as long as you’ve been enrolled up to 5 years.

Quicken / QuickBooks. After the system conversion, users will need to modify their Quicken and/or QuickBooks settings to ensure the smooth transition of data.  Information is time sensitive, and it is important that you perform each step exactly as instructed in the order presented to ensure your service functions properly.

Mint.  After the system conversion, Mint aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 5 business days. Mint.com data is stored on Intuit cloud servers. Data is updated with every change and cannot restore data to a previous point in time.

For a successful account update, do not login into Mint.com for BankFinancial Online Business Banking until after 11/18/2020.
