Traditional Title Services

Financial Title Services offers its customers more than the customary assistance of a title company in real estate transactions. We commit to the following level of services:

• An assigned, dedicated team of title professionals to assist as needed with any aspect of the title process. The team remains constant, insuring familiarity and smooth working relations between Financial Title Services personnel and you.
• Confirmation of the title order with an order number within one day of receipt.
• Title commitment for most transactions within 5 business days of the order date. If any problem extends the commitment completion beyond 5 days, you will be notified.
• Assistance in clearance of title exceptions prior to closing.
• Complete contact information, including phone numbers, extensions and locations for any contact needed during course of title process with Financial Title.
• Access to all Financial Title Services including its direct connections to county recorder offices. This will give you duplication of documents for examination in hours and not days.
• Access to all Financial Title services for any closing appointments or other requests.
• Access to BankFinancial's Land Trusts and lending information necessary to consummate your transaction.
• Special services as requested.

Attorneys or Lenders as Title Agents

For attorneys or lenders who have clientele with a heavy concentration in real estate and whose involvement in the title process is increasing, becoming a title agent may be the best option. We offer them:

• Assistance in the application process for registration as a title agent with the State of Illinois.
• Furnishing of search packages for title examination within 4 business days of receipt of order. You will be notified of any delays.
• Furnishing of manuals, forms, instruction materials and training in underwriting techniques.
• Assistance with clerical services, including typing and mailing of commitments and policies, preparation of invoices, policy reporting, calculation of underwriting fees and agent retention, as well as other clerical and accounting functions.
• Access to all Financial Title Services locations for any closing appointments or other requests.
• Access to BankFinancial's Land Trust Department located in Burr Ridge, Illinois, offering expedited services and assistance in land trust transactions.
• Attorneys can deal directly with Financial Title's legal staff with over 35 years of title and real estate law experience.
• Special services as requested.
